Dr. Levon Nikoyan is a highly trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with advanced expertise in surgical dentistry, implant-related procedures, and anesthesia management. Originally from Armenia, Dr. Nikoyan grew up in New York, where he developed a strong academic foundation and commitment to excellence in surgical care.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from New York University and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University. Dr. Nikoyan completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he received extensive training in complex surgical procedures, anesthesia, and patient safety. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. Nikoyan has published clinical research on pre-operative anesthesia management and has a special interest in implant-related soft tissue augmentation and advanced IV sedation techniques. His surgical approach emphasizes precision, safety, and optimal long-term outcomes, particularly for patients undergoing implant and advanced surgical treatment.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Nikoyan has participated in multiple humanitarian dental and surgical missions to the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, providing care to underserved communities. He is multilingual and speaks Spanish, Russian, and Armenian, allowing him to connect with a diverse patient population.
Outside of the office, Dr. Nikoyan enjoys life on Long Island with his wife and their two children. He remains committed to continued education, surgical excellence, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care to every patient.
